We’re going to remove the 24 hour cooldown system and replace it with a clan war (rez) token system:

Token system:

Clans can salvage their fort as long as they have a token. Let’s call them rez tokens (rez = Resurrect, a Tron reference)

Each clan will get a rez token everyday so you don’t have to rez exactly after 24 hours just to maximize your clan warring (< that’s definitely an improvement)

You can’t keep more than 1 rez token, spend it or lose it when the next one comes in

If your fort was just sunk you have to wait 30 mins before you can use a token to rez

On weekends clans will get tokens every 5 hours (current system has a 5 hour cooldown on weekends)

Weekend auto-rez will remain

“Scheduled” CW system (this may come in later or not at all):

Every clan must pick a preferred time slot (1 hour)

You can change the timeslot once a week

When you rez your clan fort you will also rez any other clan if it’s their preferred timeslot (though only 15 minutes later and the clan will get a notification).

if a clan has already been rezzed once through this method it will not be rezzed; 24 hour cooldown

I’ll make updates to this post if we decide to change anything.

Some MMOs give buffs to all their members for holding strategic points or doing well at their equivalent of Clan Wars. We decided not to adopt that idea because it’s been proven to result in everyone wanting only to join the top clan.

Instead we’ll be working on the clan treasury and as long as there’s only 1 clan afloat that clan will start to “mine” for ores, p.rocks and even rare items. The mined resources will be put in the clan treasury and it’s up to the Clan Masters to divide the spoils.

Leonard Mah will be writing the backstory of the Mining Wars between clans to secure rich ore fields. Tier S clans are fighting over the richest ore fields with the best yield.

You can join clan only on a Thurdays Sios time or when you are clanless for 30days or more.

You can only unpacify on Thurdays Sios time . Pacify cooldown of 7 days removed.

These changes regarding Clan and Clan War will be updated into the Game soon:

Clans will have “Pacifist” or “Warring” status now.

Only “Warring ” clans will be ranked.

For “Warring ” Status:

Maximum of 10% of clan members can be pacified. e.g. Clan size of 50, atleast 45 members must remain as warring members for clan to have “Warring” status

Clans need to have a minimum size of 50 to maintain “Warring” status.

Failure of either conditions will result in ” Pacifist” status.

Clan Deletion criteria is being revised and will be updated soon:

Clan maintainence size: 30members.

Auto-check for clan deletion: Every Friday Sios time

New clans have a 1 month period from date of creation to reach 30 members, or else they will be deleted

We’ve had some debate over the state of Clan wars in Battle Stations and we’ve identified some problems (the list is non-exhaustive):

low participation in CWs at lower tiers due to timezone differences

not enough incentive to CW

losing all the time due to low turnout for war + other reasons = dead clans

We’ll be making a few changes:

1st, we’ll be adding a Warrior achievement which tracks the number of times you CW’ed (don’t bother asking the criteria for this). Taking part in 20/50/100/250/500/1000 clan wars unlocks exclusive weapons and items (yes that means I’ll be working on new gear).

2nd, we’re going to add a timezone and description field for every clan so players can use that in their decision on which clan to join.

Other CW updates:

Unpacifying will only allowed on Thursdays

Clan pacification will come into effect soon. Failure to meet a minimum number of rez per week will result in the entire clan being pacified and taken out of the rankings. Hopefully we will be able to remove Tier D once enough of these clans are removed.

XP and gold multiplier for Tiers below A will be nerfed
