Mobile Weapon Developer Diary #29: Preparing for the big day
Before we launch MW:1 in July there’s a couple of things we need to get done:
1) Need to get link banners ready.
2) Prevent “leeching” of MW:1 from our server.
3) Ready emailer for SG universities.
4) Figure out how to submit the game to MSN and Yahoo.

Remember everyone. Our target for MW:1 is 1 MMMmmmeeeellion unique players in 1 week from the launch date! We need to get well prepared before we launch.

3) Funding proposals – Creative Community Singapore & MDA -progress and updates
4) Plan and Proposal for SMU Tangram web game

I advise that you also share links with http://www.xgenstudios.com, or even get them to feature the game (they have great flash games, it would bring a good flow to mobile weapon)
It’s very important we fix the leeching because if we don’t, the server will crash when we launch MW:1.
Newspapers and our investors only know of MSN and Yahoo. Posting the game on NG and miniclip doesn’t really do much for them.
If you guys know how to post on MSN and yahoo pls give us a tip.
Hmmm…..I think our server is already taking a hit from the load.
And we can’t launch MW:1 now because it isn’t ready either. We’ve still got quite alot to do.
I was wondering if you could possibly have the game come out on July 4th, it’s my birthday. MW:1 will probably be the last game I play before school starts again. Thanks in advance.
Now,Slashaar,you can’t expect them to be able to finish the game before the set time.If they do,that’s great!But I don’t think they can cut out 3 day’s work from the schedule and stuff it all in the few days we have left.

First of all the game was fun, and i do want to know when mw:1 comes out i hope its a little longer.
